The Environment Agency says: "Strong winds associated with Storm Ciara, combined with high astronomic tides will drive wave and spray overtopping of coastal defences on Monday morning (10/02/20).
"Areas of particular concern are exposed promenades and frontages in Scarborough.
"Please be careful along beaches, promenades, coastal footpaths and roads as large waves and sea spray could be dangerous."
