Cloughton Cricket Club’s under-11 and under-13 teams have pulled out of the Greenwood Hire Derwent Valley Junior League.
League secretary Malcolm Maw said: “It is with regret that I have to announce that Cloughton CC have decided to withdraw both of their remaining junior teams from the league.
“They have indicated a lack of numbers and also people willing to run the teams. Hopefully other clubs are not having a similar problem.”
Junior and senior league games are due to start next month.
